Founding Partner

Vivian Elias

Vivian Elias has built her career on the conviction that strong legal advocacy requires equal parts precision, preparation, and genuine dedication to the clients she serves. As a Co‑Founder and Partner of Domingo Elias & Vu APLC, she brings a steady, thoughtful presence to the firm—shaping its approach to defense work and reinforcing its commitment to excellence.

Ms. Elias began her academic journey at California State University, Fullerton, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration with a concentration in Management. She went on to attend Western State University, College of Law, distinguishing herself through academic achievement and a commitment to public service. It was there that she developed a deep interest in litigation—a field that demands analytical rigor, meticulous preparation, and the ability to navigate complex legal and factual landscapes.

Early in her career, Ms. Elias gained significant experience in civil litigation, handling multifaceted insurance defense matters that required careful analysis, effective communication, and a strong command of procedural strategy. She developed skills that became the foundation of her practice: evaluating complex cases, managing extensive discovery, preparing matters for trial, and working closely with clients to craft practical and efficient solutions. Her experience in trial preparation, mediations, arbitrations, and motion practice shaped her into a confident and capable advocate.

Her evolving interests and strengths naturally led her toward Workers’ Compensation law, where the combination of statutory complexity and case‑by‑case nuance aligned with her analytical and strategic approach. She represented a broad range of clients—including insurance carriers, public entities, school districts, and self‑insured employers—in matters involving high‑exposure claims, 132(a) allegations, Serious & Willful issues, and specialized areas such as CAL/OSHA‑related disputes. Her work in this arena included representing clients at Mandatory Settlement Conferences, Trials, and administrative proceedings, solidifying her reputation as a measured, effective, and knowledgeable litigator.

Driven by a desire to build a practice that reflected her values—integrity, thoroughness, and client‑focused advocacy—Ms. Elias co‑founded Domingo Elias & Vu APLC. Her vision helped shape the firm’s collaborative culture and strategic approach to defense work.

Today, as a Founding Partner, Ms. Elias continues to lead with clarity, diligence, and a deep sense of responsibility. She is known for her thorough preparation, her ability to simplify complex matters, and her unwavering commitment to achieving strong, practical outcomes for her clients.

At the heart of her story is a belief that exceptional advocacy is built on care, competence, and consistency—and that every client deserves a legal partner who approaches each case with purpose and integrity.
