Mr. Vu’s professional path began at San Jose State University, where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Criminal Law. He continued his legal studies at Western State University, College of Law, where he distinguished himself through leadership roles and a strong commitment to the legal community. From early on, he was drawn to the complexities and nuances of Workers’ Compensation law—a field that demanded analytical precision, practical judgment, and the ability to navigate both statutory frameworks and human realities.
Before entering private practice, Mr. Vu developed a strong foundation in the insurance industry, gaining firsthand insight into claims evaluation, risk management, and the internal decision‑making processes that shape Workers’ Compensation matters. This experience gave him a unique perspective as an advocate—one that allows him to anticipate issues, understand the needs of carriers and administrators, and craft solutions that are both strategic and efficient.
As an attorney, Mr. Vu quickly became known for his command of complex Workers’ Compensation issues and his steady, measured approach to litigation. He has represented large insurance carriers, self‑insured employers, third‑party administrators, public entities, and school districts, bringing a thoughtful, solutions‑oriented perspective to every case. His practice also includes extensive work with Professional Employer Organizations (PEOs), providing specialized representation that addresses the unique statutory and operational challenges of employer‑of‑record models.
Mr. Vu’s work spans the full scope of the Workers’ Compensation process, including high‑exposure claims, 132(a) allegations, Serious & Willful issues, LC 4850 matters, asbestos‑related claims, and representation in Mandatory Settlement Conferences, Trials, and Alternative Dispute Resolution proceedings.
Driven by a commitment to building a practice that reflects the highest standards of advocacy and professionalism, Mr. Vu co‑founded Domingo Elias & Vu APLC. His vision was clear: to create a firm rooted in collaboration, innovation, and unwavering dedication to client success.
Today, as a Founding Partner, Mr. Vu remains a steady and strategic leader. He brings to the firm a calm, analytical presence and a deep understanding of the defense landscape—qualities that continue to guide the firm’s growth and shape its reputation.
At the core of his story is a belief that thoughtful, informed advocacy can make a meaningful difference—and that clients deserve a legal partner who approaches every case with integrity, diligence, and a clear sense of purpose.
